I'm proud to be a father of three, a TUSD parent, and a product of public education. I want TUSD to be the most successful it can be, so that my kids –- and all our kids -- can get the best public education they can. If elected, I will to fight for high quality public education that is accessible to all.
I'm a family physician that built my career around improving the health and safety of the most vulnerable families and kids in our community. I've fought for health equity and social justice by standing up against entrenched interests in areas such as women’s health, LGBTQ safety, and clean air for communities of color.
I will advocate for ALL Tucson families, just as I've advocated for my patients and their communities.
I believe that a healthy Tucson is one with a public education system that meets every family's needs and ensures that no one is left behind.
I'm married to an educator who has spent his career teaching and leading K-12 schools, and I've seen first hand the challenges that go into classroom success.
I truly understand how wages, classroom size, and teacher resources affect our kids, and believe that TUSD can’t succeed without ensuring its teachers have the tools and resources they need. I am committed to helping educators build classrooms that give Tucson kids the best opportunities possible.
